Need tips and strategies for october test

I’ve done it in about a year. Just study your ass off, seriously. Get all the practice review books, and do as many tests as you can. The only way to prepare for an event is to simulate it as if its the real thing. Same goes for the SAT/ACT.

@Roxas Yeah that would make it kinda hard…

but I manage some how. Does anyone have any good tips to score well on the cr section? That is my lowest and ois costing me dreadfully. I have only mange to increase.by 10 pts each test, which is depressing.

10 pts a test is not bad do 20 tests 200 pt increase!!!

Exactly my score and situation. Im gonna study my butt off the next couple of months

I’m not sure what your previous method was for CR, but I found that adding more annotations and underlining the sections cited in the questions really helped me with the passage-based reading. In terms of math, I found the sparknotes guide to be pretty clear and helpful though I may supplement with Dr. Chung’s.

@bismuthoxid
Im trying to implement the strategy mention in the thread “How to attack the CR effectively.” When I took a practice test, I scored in the same range.

there’s no secret tip or trick that’s going to raise your score. you just have to practice

take practice tests, review and understand the problems you missed, improve your reading comprehension, memorize vocabulary. anyone who studies hard enough can score 2200+

need to improve from a lousy 2160 to a 2300-2400… I’ve already improved by about 100-120… I appreciate any help, especially in CR
