Need Tips for ACT Reading and Science Sections!

Just some background info:

Im a junior who is decently smart (2290 sats).
I want to go to top school but I'm not very satisfied with my sat score.
Then I realized how easy the act was compared to the sat, so I decided to give it a shot, but I have 1 problem: The Timing.

I am good enough at the English and Math sections to get every question right with more than enough time to check over all of my answers

The PROBLEM

I have trouble finishing the READING and the SCIENCE sections on the test, and I have to usually guess at least 4-5 questions on the reading, and 4-5 on the science passages

So I was just wondering, would my speed increase for these 2 sections as I do a lot more practice? I've only done maybe 4 practices for individual sections, and they were out of the 1296 PR Book

ALSO, if anyone has done really well on either of these 2 sections, reading AND/OR science, care to offer any tips on how to quickly finish?

So far, the only stradegies I use are

For Reading: If theres a lot of line references in a passage, read the questions first, then go to the passage and look for the answer, then go to another queston, find the answer, and eventually, after doing all of the line reference questions, I would've read enough to have read through hthe entire passage and get the main idea anyways

If theres not a lot of line references in the questions, I just read the whole passage and then answer the questions afterwards

I also go passage 3, 4, 2, then 1

For science: I just read the question, find the answer, and do the passages in order of the number of questions it has ( 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7)

however, I usually only get to 3ish questions on the 7 question passage and I have to guess on the rest :/

What should I DO?!
