At this point, you’re both not reading my post or keeping up with the details. That core is not the current core - please look at the current one. Even beyond that, your major satisfied half the core in the old version as well. I certainly haven’t needed to take 15 courses to satisfy the core myself. You also counted 1 credit courses and things that are not even classes. It’s just incredible misinformation on your part.
- first year learning community - this is only two credits total, and part of your major, not the core
- knowledge domains - I satisfied two in my major, and two with AP credit
- writing intensive - also satisfied by my major
- mathematical / analytical thinking - my major
- comparative study of cultures - this was a "core" class for me
- integrated experiential learning - this is literally another way to say co-op - it is not a class
- capstone - this is via your major, again
In summary, I have taken only one class for my “core curriculum”. Without AP, it would have been three.
Again, this isn’t even anything that applies to the OP. You clearly have an ax to grind here for no good reason.
