okay, im really confused.
i've read that i don't need to rush score for it to reach the university in time and i save money, which is nice.
but since the decision will be coming out in dec 11 will the normal score reports reach upenn in time?
i also remember reading somewhere official that penn wants the october scores rushed(which just came out like yesterday).
thanks for the help.

UPenn REQUIRES that November scores, not October scores, be rushed to them. If you do not rush them, they will not accept the scores. It is too late to rush them now, might as well sit back, relax and wait for their decision. Btw, if you listed UPenn as the college to send the scores to before, on or 5 days after you took your November SAT, they would have been rushed to the college of your choice for free.

thanks, but i wasn’t sure about what you were referring to here “too late to rush them now”. by them do you mean the November one’s? and does it hurt your chances?
thanks for the quick response btw.

pennhopefull means it’s too late to rush the November ones if you didn’t already. The Penn site clearly states November scores must be rushed if you applied ED.

I’m not sure if it’s “too late” to rush them. You can try calling the Penn Admissions office during their office hours and ask them about it. (Since it’d be beneficial for you if you had high scores on the November test.)

^^ agreed. Collegeboard’s policy toward sending scores in Oct & Nov is that, they rush them no matter what. As they realize that most applicants send in their Oct. & Nov. scores only if they EA or ED, the only way CB sends the scores is by rushing them. I found this out by calling collegeboard. Therefore, you can still pay $9.50 or so per test and send your November scores, however, there is no guarantee it will reach them, especially since you are sending it a few days after your scores came out. As CB sends on the first business day available, if you order it tomorrow, they will be sent out Nov.30th, meaning Penn will receive it around Dec.3rd or 4th. Decisions come out 11th; if money is not an issue, and you realize that Penn might not consider your scores, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to send them in.

Hope this helps.

what scores did u get in nov and what scores do u have if u dont take into account the nov scores? itll be easier to give u advice knowing this info.
