Need Transferring Advice

Hey guys, so i go to a huge college, University of South Carolina. And i go for Business Management and its a big thing at this school, but also so big that a lot of people are just accepted into i feel. And the huge down side is that i live 30 minutes away from here, so i don't live on campus or anything, i just drive to school, and go back to home or work. So i really feel like i'm still in high school, but worse. I'm not really meeting people or feeling motivation to do anything. So i'm looking into transferring to a very small private school here in South Carolina, it is about 45 minutes away, but of course cost a lot more. But i know they would give a lot of scholarships (thats not the problem). I know they have a Business Administration program there, but of course its way smaller and not as much established. But i know i would enjoy my self a lot more and get a lot more involved with the school, which is a lot of what i want right now. So.

I'm wondering if going to such a small school to get my undergraduate in a small program will really effect how it looks. Like i have considered to go to Graduate School at USC, but would it look bad to being coming back, or coming from such a small school? And what about employers, are they going to care that i graduated from Newberry College? Or is it really not that big of a deal either way. I just wanna make sure i'm not screwing myself up by going to a smaller school, so that i'd enjoy myself.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Why not apply to USC as a transfer and some other better known business programs?

Can you talk with your parents about living on campus at USC for even one semester? That would give you an opportunity to make more friends and become more active in the campus community. Once you have your relationships established, if you have to move home again to save money you won’t feel as isolated.

Why would i apply to USC as a transfer? I go there now.
And i honestly feel like living on campus there is just a waste, like i know i would get more involved some but i still don’t think i would as much as i would somewhere else. Its just so close, like Columbia is nothing big to me at all. I think i also want a small school.

So does all that effect my degree? For jobs and a graduate school.
