[need YOUR help] UCLA / UCB transfer on 2015

Hello everyone, thanks for your time and I hope I can get some advice/help!
Thanks again! :)

Well, I don't know where to start but... Firstly,

About myself,
I'm a 27(soon 28) year old BOY in SoCal, who's just had quit the job(worked in a hotel for 3 years and Logistics field for the rest - since the graduation of high school) and attending to a CC for transfer at UCLA/Cal as Pol Sci major.

So far, the start doesn't look THAT bad, but neither good/great... by end of this semester, I'd have 3.5 of GPA....by the calculation/simulation of my plan/schedule until the transfer, I would complete total 73 UC Transferable units with GPA of 3.92

Pro:
STRONGLY motivated oneself, have TONS of stuff for my personal statement and I am quite confident that I can impress the reader/the one whom may it concern.
Completed 100 hours of volunteer - Presidential service award (Bronze, getting Silver soon and I can possibly have Gold that's 2400+ hours)
Planning for some extra-curriculum(s) for human rights or such kinds(next year)

Con:
Lack of progress; since I've discontinued my education since the graduation of high school (actually never really did/tried studying hard since I was an infant...until I've decided to continue/achieve my education), I feel like I'm doing something wrong, or don't know how to run/manage the School/Study Life as well....it's like I'm in the middle of nowhere...

Please give me your great hands to get me some idea/concept and strong motivations!
If I'm in to UCLA or Cal, I will treat you some Good reward...such as Taco Bell or something like that....(LOL JK..maybe McDonald's. haha).

Personal message, email, reply on this thread... anything will be a help for me.
Thank very much again for your time and caring! :-)

Ps. If i'm missing / you need some information, feel free to tell/ask me. I'll give you everything you need...except my credit card #s. haha ;-)

From what I’ve seen, UCLA is a number game. Higher the GPA, better your chances. Cal is a different story, as they look at your entire application holistically. Get your GPA to a 3.8~ and I’d say you will have a good chance at both LA and Cal.

Good luck!

GPA is by far the most important thing when transferring so the higher you can get that the better. Also, you have amazing EC’s, which will really help. I had next to NOTHING and got accepted so having that many can really boost your chances. It will be important for you to talk about why you decided to start up your education again after some time. Believe it or not, it’s not uncommon at all for people to return to school after that many years so it shouldn’t hurt your chances at all.

Here’s something you can look at on a year by year basis to see how others who applied to UCLA as a transfer student compare. You can look at your individual major to compare stats
