what I find annoying is that i'm grouped with the "nerds." i'm not amazingly smart, but ok i got almost perfect on the SAT, BIG DEAL. i have a really low GPA (meaning I dream of a 3.8) but people just assume i'm a nerd. i listen to punk rock and dress like a normal 17-year-old girl. but classmates who aren't my friends always joke that i'd be perfect for the school nerd, who is an arrogant prick. thankfully my friends know i'm normal and have standards, but sometimes it gets really humilating.

I'm a closet nerd. I like Harry Potter and the history channel. I prefer reading to MTV. I do have a social life, though, and school does not consume my life.

To KissMeKate, just wait a few years! Whenever I get annoyed at the people who slack off and do poorly in school and who sneer at and make fun of the people who study and do well, I just remind myself that in 10 years time I'll be driving a nice car and have a good job, and they'll be packing my groceries.

I'm defined as a nerd, and I don't really care when people call me that . . . they're just jealous! And it's not an insult to say someone has good grades, so whatever.

Anyway, it's always the nerds that end up being rich and hot. Most people who are called nerds aren't bad looking minus their glasses.

that's true, oftentimes people who look awkward or weird in high school look really good when they fill out and become adults, when they learn to take care of their looks. people who look good in high school generally don't get any better looking as time goes on.

Dude nerd is an ambiguous term.

I think it all depends on the nerd.

Some nerds are really cool and keep their school stuff to themselves.

And then there are those who will exclaim, "OH MY GOD I just failed that test!" and then get it back with a 97%.

Jibberlol, that nerd's hawt. ;)
Just kidding.

I'm quite the bio/math nerd. However, I'd much rather hang out with my friends than sit around and do bio/math problems. =)

I'm not really a nerd, I'd meet people half way with that. I do very well ,but that doesn't define a nerd.

Thanks GreenDayFan<3. I miss you!

Yay! I'm missed:]

Lol, people call me a nerd and I spend more time doing athletics than studying! Face it, 80% of all high schoolers are idiots.

I am considered nothing except the most socially inept and least assimilable person in the school. (My actions definitely deserve these titles, and my jokes, usually very disgusting, don't help them. I personally tell them to **** off; I will only have to deal with you idiots for another year, before I get treated to a whole new set of idiots in college.)

I'm no nerd..I'm just here to advocate integration. May the stupid learn from the smart!

no sars, if you know simple diffusion, it would be HORRIBLE to let the stupid get smarter....that's like....intelligence socialism ;)

NO! the stupid can not learn! i will not have them taking away my knowledge!!!!!!!!!! =]!!!!

I don't think that nerds are quiet or anti-social people, I know alot of nerds who talk and talk and talk until I have to tell them to shut up, they only thing I hate about the talkative nerds is that their stories are so ****ing boring; I feel like pulling up a bed and sleeping through the whole thing. I'm not a nerd but most people think of me as one.
