Also, my weighted GPA is 4.16, which is low, but my school only offers AP classes to 11th/12th graders. Will the UC schools know that? Also I'm really sad about my volunteering hours because I don't have that many because I am so busy with tennis. Will this harm my admission chances? I've gotten offers from D3 schools, but I really want to be a bruin!

You should make it into UCLA, your SAT score is above their average.

I would be very surprised if you didn’t get in to UCLA.

Your guidance counselor can recommend the situation with AP classes in his/her recommendation for you-- make sure you tell your counselor that you want that included.

Your intended major can somewhat affect your chance of admissions; colleges want to see that you’re doing ECs that are related to the field that you want to go into. If you decide you want to go into business, for example, it would be to your benefit to emphasize the work you put into your online boutique.

You’re in-state, so that’s a plus for you. I would say UCLA is a high match.

I think you have a VERY good chance of admission to UCLA because it seems like you are a well-rounded individual. To answer some of your questions; I would say yes, you should mention your online boutique in your college app because it shows that you take initiative, which UCLA really likes. I worked as a referee for girls basketball only one year because I hated it and I still put that in my app. I’m not sure if it helped, but it definitely didn’t hurt. As for the low-ish GPA thing, there is a section on the app where you can explain whether your or not your GPA is an accurate reflection of your academic abilities. You may want to mention that your school only offered APs to 11th and 12th graders in that section. All in all, as an incoming freshman to UCLA, I had lower SATs than you and not quite as many extracurriculars and I still got in. I would be shocked if you don’t get in. Best of luck! And try not to stress, you will get into the college that is right for you!

Can I get some more opinions pretty please with whipped cream on top? ( I don’t like cherries :p)

I’d say you have a pretty good chance. SAT and GPA (UW) are in range, in fact maybe even above avg, for this school and you have some pretty good EC’s. What is your intended major?

You have a very good chance of getting in! You seem to be very well rounded and you score well on the tests.
Yes, majors do matter, some are much harder to get into than others, like engineering majors are harder to get into than, say, psychology.
I hope that helped some
And if you have time, please chance me on my thread!Have a great day! :D
