I dont mean to be baby but I am pretty nervous even for the regular decision letters. Cal Poly has been my top choice for as long as I have been thinking about college. I did pretty well in high school and I’m applying for a kinesiology major
3.5 cal poly GPA
1330 crit read+math
32 ACT
with 25% or more of my EC’s relating to my major

is anyone else on the same page as me, or just nervous in general?

Yes, yes, and yes. I am SO nervous. I had a pretty good GPA when I applied, with a 3.68 but I had a REALLY bad semester, which dropped me down to a 3.1. It will probably come back up after this semester, as I'm re-taking a lot of classes and eliminating some of those bad grades from my transcript but I'm still super nervous! Cal Poly is THE ONLY college I applied to because it is only one of two colleges in CA that has my major (Wine & Viticulture) and I could only afford one application. I am chewing my NAILS off thinking about it and I'm so nervous but I wish you the best of luck and I hope we both get in. :-) Let me know if/when you do!!!

I forgot my password to my Cal Poly Portal, lol, I feel like an idiot...

I'm nervous too. My stats are better than the average accepted but I applied November 30th at like, 10pm. And my major, Psychology, is really competitive. If private schools don't give me enough aid, it's either here or the local state school... so yeah, I would say I'm nervous! lol I'm nervous about getting housing too, I DON'T want to live off campus my freshman year...

LookaDinosaur, I wish you the best of luck as well! Hopefully we do both get in!

And i think regular decision is supposed to come out March 15th, but one of my friends just got accepted today as an engineering major.... so i dont know!

Does anyone know why it doesn't say anything about accept the decision or decline it? Cause I was also recently accepted but theres nothing about accept the decision made or decline the admission? Or do we have to wait till the official acceptance letters are mailed out?

Yeah, we were surprised to get a decision this early. He applied ED but was deferred to RD. Maybe those like him (applied ED, but deferred) are the ones being notified now.
We already (today) booked a hotel for Open House (accepted student weekend) because I know SLO hotel rooms fill up for this event.

Yay. I got in for Comp Sci!
"Congratulations, you have been selected for admission to Cal Poly pending your meeting the following Terms and Conditions."

I'm so relieved at least one school will take me. :)

Is it true that students who applied ed(and didn't get in) have a better chance getting in rd? Idk if that is a rumor to comfort those of us who didn't get in the first time around, or it's really how it goes. Thanx.
