I'm an international student who has a superscore of 1850 (M 650 CR 550 W 650) and i'll be giving my last shot at the SAT I in October. I want to get a 2100. But i'm super nervous right now and that's really not helping me. It would be helpful if people gave me tips to increase my score (CR in particular) Encouraging success stories are welcome too
Ahh this is nerve-racking :(

Have you read silverturtle’s guide? It has really useful information concerning the SAT. There are also some success stories in the thread below his guide. I have no success stories of myself since I haven’t taken the SAT yet. Don’t be nervous. That’s just defeating yourself. Do you remember taking a test with the feeling that you would ace it? Remember it while you’re taking the SAT. Have faith in yourself and ace that hellish test

For Critical Reading, I go back to my answers and reason with myself why I chose a certain choice, both right and wrong. You’ll start to notice that only one choice is supportd by the passage while the others are blatantly wrong. While taking the test, don’t make up excuses that defend an unsupported answer. If it isn’t supported by the text, it’s wrong.
