Nervous System for Bio

What do I need to know about it? A detailed post or concise review site would be much appreciated. I dozed through this section in my AP bio class.

On my Biology test on May there weren't any questions about the nervous system... (I took the test on Sunday)

From what I remember when I took Bio E, there isn't too much on nervous system. If anything, review the purpose and basic structure of neurons, the purpose and sequence of an active potential, the Na-K pump, and synapses, as well as basic info on the nervous system. That should be everything you need to know for the nervous system on the SAT II Bio. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me.

What do i need to know about the different parts of it though (autonomic, peripheral, CNS, etc.)?

I already have a good idea of the neuron.

there was only one question that was KINDA related to the nervous system: it asked what the ectoderm develops into in an embryo (answer? the nervous system)

@afruff: Those are more AP Bio-ish questions than for the SAT II, I wouldn't bother them too much if I were you, although it wouldn't hurt to just look over them for a minute or so.

Oddly, I would have got that question right.

Go to Sparknotes.com, they have a online review for the entire SAT II Bio test. The part you're looking for could be found under organismal biology of animals...
