I'm thinking of becoming a neuroscientist/neuroscience engineer. Would this be a lucrative job? How much do they usually get paid? And what specifically would you become? A researcher or technician?

Depends on the job. A lab tech in an academic neuro lab around here, based on the experiences of people I know, could expect to make $25K-$35K/year. A senior scientist at a wealthy biotech company with a PhD would probably make a lot more.

I usually do this - just type in any keyword and your area and it gives you a salary based on all jobs with that keyword.
