Neuroscience PhD in McGill after med school in athens

Hi everybody,

i would like to ask to about my chances of getting accepted directly to the phd program in neuroscience by McGill.

I have graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens, Greece (high grades-among highest 10% of my class) and now i am in the first year of a 2-year MSc program in neurobiology in the same university.

Research experience: I have been an assistant in the epidemiology department for the last 3 years of med school and this has led to 5 publications (4 of them in neurology-psychiatry). In addition I have been volunteering in a basic research (neuroscience) laboratory since August. Lastly, I have 2 review publications (one in a greek journal).

Since the MSc here is not as good as I expected, I was thinking about stopping it and aplly for admission in the phd program of McGill in neuroscience (integrated program).

Do you know if I could directly apply for the phd? Or should I start again with two years of MSc? Will they question my decision to apply to a new program before completing the one I am now?
What are my chances for both scenarios?

And a last question: does anybody know the mean time to graduation for this specific program?

Thanks in advance!
