Neuroscience?

Is neuroscience a useful field? I am planning to go to graduate school eventually but am considering majoring in neuroscience.

What type of career are you planning on?

No idea. I’m a rising junior and want ideas

OP, here are some ideas of career fields for which neuroscience might be a suitable undergraduate preparation:
Physical Therapy; Optometry/Vision Science; Medicine (esp. neurology, rehab medicine, psychiatry, developmental medicine/behavioral pediatrics); Physician Assistant; Nursing (MSN, neurological nursing; Psychology (esp. cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, health psychology/behavioral medicine, clinical psychology, rehab psychology, geriatric psychology, developmental disabilities, and possibly, engineering/human factors psychology); Speech Pathology & Audiology; Bioethics; Cognitive Science; Linguistics; Biosciences (esp. neuroscience, animal behavior, pharmacology); Special Education (e.g., learning disabilities, brain-injury); History of Science/Medicine; Science Journalism. All of these would require graduate or professional study, and many of them would require some undergrad pre-requisites apart from the coursework for a neuroscience major.
