<p>After sitting down and thinking it over, man I really do hate college, heck forget the hard work, I'm an art major so yea there is hard work but probably not as much as other majors, and as far as oh suck it up and people pass you bye with the quote end quote real world philosophy and all this other crap that don't make a lick of sense, man I know I ain't entitled to nothin, nothin except a .45 and a shovel. But whatever its back to the job, and back to the daily grind, all I know is I hate college, I can't stand college, it is a giant waste of money, study a foreign language is useless and is lame as I don't know what. Matter of fact even if I do finish the long haul my only thought going through my head for the guy who hands me the degree is to spit in his and toss the degree as far as it will and to take my graduation suit and watch that sucker burn...but whatever its just another day.</p>

<p>Become a Spanish minor or any other language you like. Then those classes wont be useless. Anyway any art major would say college is useless since the country was in a recension. When my sister graduated with her art degree there where not major art jobs. Find something else you like and minor in it, who knows you may like it more than art</p>

You think a girl will even consider you if she has to pick up the bill? God forbid but what if someone in your family needs surgery and they rely on you to pay for it? So shut the **** up, get another major and graduate.</p>
<p>I 100% agree with you (OP), college is the most useless thing ever, foreign languages are worth zero unless you’re gonna live there or have a foreign mom-in-law or something, and all those stupid required courses they require you to take that have NOTHING to do with your major, so they can leech off more money from you while you have to wait to take the few courses that are actually interesting or useful to a career of some sort … The only reason I’m going to college, is because of purely economical reasons, all the statistics that say going to college increases job chances, blah blah etc etc but if I had any choice, if life werent the way it is … sigh. Oh well, since I don’t even have a choice anyway, I might as well as make up some reasons to go, to make myself feel better… I will be ‘investing in myself’ by goin to college! I will ‘meet and befriend new and interesting people’! (lol right.) I will delve into the fine cultures of the world and intellectually explore exciting concepts! Oh gosh I am sooo excited, I can’t wait to go to college! (eyeroll) Actually, the last part is true, if only to get out of the same bedroom I’ve been living in for the last 5 years … >_></p>

<p>I’m mostly disturbed that WastedxYears wants to spend his hard-earned money on an Audi R8. If you have that much money on a car, at least buy one that has some sort of personality.</p>

<p>An R8 is too refined, too German, and not German in a good way like an M3. It’s extremely refined, extremely precise, and will always do what I tell it to do without any surprises. It has no soul. For the same money buy a used Ferrari, or an Aston, or a ZR1, or even better an old 60s Shelby Mustang.</p>

Some college degrees come out with more opportunities than others.</p>
<p>If you hate your school then transfer. If you hate your major consider changing your major. Tons of people change their major… that’s good because you learned something about yourself.</p>
<p>I hate college too. We put it up on such a pedestal while we’re in high school, but once we get here we realize it really isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I still feel the same anxiousness to get finished that I did before, except now the work is harder and I’m completely autonomous which paired with my lack of self discipline is a disaster. </p>
<p>I’m just excited to get started with a career - whatever that career may be. Being undeclared is the worst. I’m here but I don’t even know what I’m working towards! I’m just doing crappy general ed’s that I hate.</p>
<p>I agree with OP. College isnt all that, but ‘real life’ is worse. This is why I am pursuing a PhD. I do some work, smoke some weed, a bit more work, try to score some strange and then sleep. What a routine.</p>
