Never Saw this before...

A REAL MBA program bashing U-Phoenix's right on it's web site. I haven't seen this before where a school talks down about competitors on it's web site, but i guess if it's true ad they have the nads....more power :)

"However appealing an online MBA may seem, you are not going to be taken seriously with a diploma from the University of Phoenix. Great strides have been made in providing online courses that supplement an accredited MBA curriculum, but they will never comprise the entire program of a top business school."

NJIT School of Management: MBA Curriculum

Yeah, but Shaq says otherwise.

Shaq Adds MBA to His Three NBA Titles

Ignorance is bliss.(?)

"It's just something to have on my resume [for] when I go back into reality," the 7-foot-1 Miami Heat center said before picking up his master's in business administration. "Someday I might have to put down a basketball and have a regular 9-to-5 like everybody else."

That is funny stuff! Ya,he might HAVE yo pull a 9-5 just like everyone else with a quarter of a billion in the bank. He can't even speak english (the editor had to put in the word "for" for him).

This on is a gem, too
"They would all say, 'You're not like we thought you would be. You're not as smart as we thought that you would be,"' O'Neal said.

His lack of intellectual horsepower impresses even U of P students.

Shaq has a pretty good personality. He may do alright in business. Don't think he'll ever do as well as Magic Johnson, but who the hell thought Magic would be doing as well as he is?

He has a likable character but if he does well, I'm sure it won't be because of U-O-Phoenix. As for Magic- He must have some really smart people in his retinue ever heard him speak?

Well, I firmly believe that a leader can only be great if he surrounds himself with very competent people. That would be a credit to Magic though for doing so.

Regardless, Magic made a good amount of money while in the NBA but nothing like the monster contracts these guys make now. He is now worth $800+ million. He took chances on business ideas that noone else would touch (for example, putting movie theaters in the ghetto). He obviously did a great job at selling himself to investors.
