Anyone who expects a predominately online school, especially UoP, to be any good has it coming in my opinion. They give horrible aid, because they're a vocational school, and in general their hands-on instruction is much worse than what you'd receive at a community college. And anyone who's ever taken an online class at a community college can tell you how terrible most online-only environments are. Even at schools that have solid programs in "real life" and high rankings for their online programs (think UF business), the online program is always, without fail going to be worse than the program for people in the flesh.

Someone who wants a bachelors is better off going to a community college for two years and then trying to get into a state school. Someone who wants a masters is better off trying to find a flexible program at a state school. Someone who wants a doctorate... Well, if they're even considering an online school then they are tremendously, almost irredeemably stupid.

At a certain level this is just common sense, and people need to figure it out on their own. Protecting them from UoP if they can't figure out that UoP is a bad idea is not going to teach them anything, they're just going to end up at another local, vocational school because they're looking for something they shouldn't be anyway.

Now, that was both funny and true!

Haha. A doctorate from an online school. That is honestly one of the funniest things I have ever heard of.
