Never Started Studying for the SAT ! Now its only a month away :( Please Help HELP ME!! ! !!

I am a senior . I didnt study at all for the SAT since I had a full time job during the summer. I am going to take a princeton review 30 hour course and Im planning on studying by reading the Ultimate SAt Grammar Guide 2011 edition , and I will take practice tests on weekends and review them . I have access to all kinds of SAT Books so recommend me the best SAT study materials that are guaranteed to be on the test . I took 2 sat practice tests and determined im in the 1400 range. Please help me reach my goal of an 1800-1900. THANK YOU TRYING TO HELP ! :)

Ok, so first of all I would not suggest the PR course because you can be much more effective in those 30 hours studying at home with prep books and practice tests. I would recommend DH 1 and 2 for vocab. Should increase your score right there. Also, look at noitaraperp’s CR guide to help you increase your CR score further. If you are having trouble on math, tbh the review in the blue book at the beginning is not a bad place to start because it covers most of the concepts pretty well, but you can also get PWN the SAT Math Guide. THen finally, just take as many practice tests as you can, go over wrong answers, and you should be good.

I have that grammar book. I wouldn’t recommend reading it unless you have the time. You usually can’t remember all the dets in one run but nonetheless, you should read it in your free time but I wouldn’t make writing your #1 priority. Focus on your math and reading more. Find out your best subject and make goals for individual sections accordingly so it adds up to 1800. I would just keep doing practice tests and reviewing the ones I got wrong, and making sure I understand them. Use the collegeboard practice guides, the more recent editions. Good luck!

I think the Grammar Guide can help a lot; use it to help figure out where you went wrong when reviewing practice tests. Make sure all your practice tests are real (from the College Board).

OK, First, what you need to do is to grab the Blue Book.

Second, do ALL the 10 practice tests, For all the questions you mess up, review the concept.

At the end you should be ready to get a 1900.

i have the same problem as you. im taking my sat in october :frowning: and my score is still a 1500
