Never taken Sat II

Forgive me for asking, but I have never taken a subject test before, so I would like to know, how does the administration of the test work once I walk into the test center with my ticket? Do I have to select different tests to take first, or do I do that online? Does everyone wait for everyone to do their three subject tests, or can you leave after two?

You can leave after one or two, everybody takes a break between tests, you can take whatever order you want.

ETA Scroll down to “Subject tests”
<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools;

You can choose the order of your tests (once your actually filling out the test information the day of the test). You can leave after one or two as HighlandMom said.

but is it possible to cheat?
i mean, let say i take 1 or 2 subjects, but after i finish, i still stay back to do.
how can they check?

You could, in theory, go back on your test after it’s over. But the proctor can tell if a person goes back since once the test is over, everyone’s book will be closed except yours. If you’re caught, then you know what will happen. :(

(If you’re talking about going back to your first test while taking your second test, then who would do that? That leads to losing focus, etc.)

no i mean
let say, i take chem and maths
but after i finish, i feel that my chem was badly done
so i stay back for another hour to work on my chem
since the order of the test is up to me to decide, and no one knows how many subjects i take on the test day, so i guess it’s possible to cheat 1 more hour for those who only take 1 or 2 subjects :D

^Are you going to try that? It’s really risky…

uhh…i find there is no need to cheat on sat IIs. the curves are EXTREMELY lenient. for example, on physics, a raw score of 59/75 is an 800. dont risk getting caught over such easy tests

of course i’m not doing that. I take 3 subjects this coming saturday :)

I took chemistry last year and had plenty of time to check my work.
