Never EVER spend 1700 dollars on an SAT prep class...
my parents did and i did it over the summer and when i took the PSAT my sophmore year i got a flippin 1600....
i was very UNSATISFIED.
tsk.
but now i bought a copy of Barron's SAT book.. hope this helps me folks
WISH ME LUCK!
ps. anyone in Texas ever heard of Karen Dilllards College Prep...

Haha, I thought 1700 for a summer course sounded familliar; that was the one I went to. (although I didn't spend 1700 since I only did it for a while)

But for me, I thought it helped me alot. Were you put into the National Merit class? Because my friend wasn't in it at first but later switched in and she said that the teachers for the National Merit classes were MUCH better. I was in the National Merit class, but one day a teacher form the regular class came in as a substitute, and he was pretty much terrible.

Arg... I think that's really frustrating
