Just hoping to get some specifications on the changes to the ACT Essay.
So how the old Essay worked was that there were two prompts, and you pick one side to argue, while acknowledging the other (and countering it).
The new ACT essay has 3 prompts, so are you just supposed to acknowledge and counter more viewpoints? Are you supposed to agree with one of the perspectives, or would it be better to create your own.

Starting in September 2015, ACT will introduce a number of enhancements to the ACT writing test. Key differences between the former and the enhanced designs are outlined below.
Many elements of the writing prompts will remain the same. For example, the test is still an exercise in argumentative writing, and it continues to measure core competencies that are linked to college and career success.
