The act is coming out with a new prep guide this June for next year’s acts and i was wondering if its worth the money or is it gonna be the same as the 2016-2017 one
How can we know that?
It sounds like it’s the same as the 2016-2017. It says it has 3 tests, so no additional tests have been added. The new book prob has the exact same 3 tests from the previous version. Here’s why.

–Info on scoring your writing test
–Reporting categories
–Test day section
–400 additional practice questions available online
Seems like ACT is starting to use the same marketing gimmick others like Princeton Review and Kaplan are using: keep changing the year on the book to sucker people into believing the previous year’s book is obsolete, so they then go out and buy the latest book.
Not exactly a “non-profit” move.
Nothing new in the book.
