So the school is obviously Bucknell. Same city, state, admissions phone number ( look at acceptance letter), mascot, colors, etc.What is the connection?

@morrismm I saw that as well my husband looked into the writers but so far hasn’t found a connection. I am curious.

Bucknell was aware of the movie for some time apparently. I am guessing that perhaps this Westenhofer guy suggested the name and they thought it would be a better name than picking an obvious Ivy league name.
