Honestly, I’m going to go against the game and say that I don’t think I like the new curriculum. Mostly because a lot of fun topics like body systems are left out (not complaining about plants though). But anyways, by taking out topics, this leaves a lot of material for students who are taking the SAT II or who want to get a thorough first-year course in biology. And I am aware that my point-of-view is very specifically-geared.

^Yeah I sort of agree, because I think the SAT II covers body systems, so it’s looks like the students will have to do some self-studying.

I wish I decided to take AP biology in senior year. I took the AP biology exam this year, and the multiple choice was a nightmare. I read over all of my AP books at least three times each, and I still feel like I got a 2 because I couldn’t remember any of the extremely meticulous details that AP required everyone to know. u__u

^Oh my. Now I’m kind of afraid for AP Biology next year lol. I’ll just hope for the best. :)

AP Biology is a memorization nightmare. Or at least it was. Now, I’m not quite sure anymore.

^It’s probably going to be more writing than memorization

Will this change affect the CLEP exam?

AP Biology is a memorization nightmare. Or at least it was. Now, I’m not quite sure anymore.
^ Exactly.
That’s why I bombed it. I understood all of the concepts that were in my book, but had never heard of some of the terms mentioned on the test. :x

Meh, I wish I took it later on. I’m better at simple math and critical thinking based on basic concepts lol. My friends and I hated studying plants so…
