New AP Chem test vs. SAT Chem sub. test?

<p>I have heard that there are several topics/concepts formerly covered in AP Chem that will no longer be on the revised AP Chem test administered in 2014.</p>

<p>Does anyone know whether these 'removed' topics are ones that must still be learned for the SAT Chem subject test?</p>

<p>It used to seem like studying for the AP Chem test was sufficient preparation for taking the subject test. But I wonder if with the changes to the AP test, this will no longer be the case.</p>

<p>Appreciate any insights on this.</p>

<p>I would think you have to learn the topics that aren’t in AP chem anymore. The same thing happened in Bio, where many topics weren’t on AP, but I still had to study them (and they were still on the test) for the subject tests.</p>
