Another 5 time champion but not a runaway game tonight.
I couldn’t believe how easy the Final Jeopardy question was. And one of them got it wrong!
Same. It was a single jeopardy level clue, I thought.
It was more like a Celebrity Jeopardy clue!
Did the questions writers think Lesotho would throw the contestants off? Bishop + Africa = Tutu
Always interesting to me to see what seems easy but nobody gets. Tonight, I was already surprised about moussaka , and then they all missed frog legs later on top of that. I guess no foodies in that group!
I watched Celebrity Jeopardy for the first time tonight. Not sure I’ll make a point of watching again any time soon . Anybody enjoying it more?
I’ve been watching. I’ve been bored by it tbh
The show shouldn’t be an hour. It moves way too slowly. Part of the appeal of Jeopardy is the rapid fire pace. I also don’t like the time-filling banter between the contestants. Also, I’ve never heard of most of the contestants. Guess I’ve made my feelings known!
They are using the term Celebrity much more loosely this time, more so than before.
Wow, another incredibly easy Final Jeopardy. I knew the question before I even finished reading the answer.
Agree. And another game that Final Jeopardy didn’t even matter anyway.
Yeah, that was a pretty easy one
I knew Final Jeopardy tonight when none of the three contestants did. Of course, it helped that I live near Portland and have toured the poet’s home.
I knew it too! I was a little surprised that all 3 missed it.
As a fellow New Englander, I knew that one as well.
If Rowan wins the whole thing, we can call it Rowan’s Revenge. I remember when she first appeared on the show, how annoying her Wheel of Fortune/Let’s Make a Deal over the top affect was. It hasn’t become more tolerable IMO.
@MADad . I have a feeling Rowan’s friends or family or even the producers may have suggested toning it down some. Seems less exuberant to me than the first games but still more exuberant than most . And that’s okay. Rowan identifies now as nonbinary, by the way.
Let’s respect their wishes to use they/them pronouns
Fair enough, but I don’t recall Rowan making clear which pronouns were preferred. You can get into trouble by guessing the wrong pronouns as well.
I ask this honestly, what are the rules when pronouns aren’t specified? (Off-topic, I know)
Ken used “they” more than once when referring to them.
I pay more attention to pronouns now since my daughter has several friends who go by “they.”
