I'm a high school junior. I know the MCAT will change by the time I take it. I wanted to take Intro to Sociology my senior year through dual enrollment, but realize it is part of the new medical school admissions required courses. I will receive college credit for Intro to Sociology. Would I have to take another sociology course to get into medical school since I will be taking Intro to Sociology in high school?

Any course you take as a dual enrollment course generates a college transcript. If any medical school you apply to requires Intro to Sociology, the dual enrollment course will fulfill that requirement.

You are reuqired to report any college credits earned thru dual enrollment on your AMCAS application and provide an official sealed transcript from the institution you earned the credits for AMCAS verification.
