“Chance for Stanford (1st choice), Ivys excluding HYP because I have no chance”

If you are excluding HYP because “you have no chance”, your chance of acceptance to Stanford is about the same as the top-tier Ivy schools.

Okay maybe no chance was a bit too strong but I don’t really feel inclined to apply to those 3 because the other ones are more reasonable. I feel as if I have a slightly better chance for Stanford because I’ve sent a lot of stuff there already and I’ve done stuff there a couple times. I also might do ED there.

Stanford does SCEA and not ED. Stanford is possible but not likely (which is the case for most applicants). Your class rank puts you at a slight disadvantage, along with your SAT and AP scores. Your EC’s lack some distinction as well. I’m not sure I’d apply early to Stanford if one of the other schools on your list is a close second.

Good luck!

Okay, I guess that’s the brutal truth although I don’t see anything too terrible about my SAT and APs. Does anyone have an opinion on anything other than Stanford like Ivys like Brown, Duke and whatnot and the other stuff I listed?

Bump? Over 100 views and only a perspective on one school?
