It only works for colleges in NYS, which of course includes Vassar. The lead logo in the WSJ article doesn’t mention Vassar but does Sarah Lawrence, which tops the per capita list, and others, and the article points out certain qualifications and the like various college administrators would like to have seen mentioned. Nonetheless, in the spirit of full and frank disclosure and integrity, take a look at Vassar’s - some reported crimes (as one of the WSJ quotees said, if it says zero, it’s not accurate, so take heart), but per capita not bad at all, as would be expected. Still, bad or not, full disclosure is the only sensible rule, so enjoy.
