Called admissions today, they said matriculation packages were mailed out to New York on Monday with Priority Mail. We live on Long Island and have not received it in today's mail.

WOOT. I got the package today, and I should apologize to my post office for suspecting them of mixing up my mail again. The envelope was postmarked May 9, aka yesterday.

Does anyone know/remember which dorms are substance free and which aren't?

Edit: Mine came through the handy dandy US Postal Service, not Fedex.

qtip....Where do you live? We didn't get the pkg today in NY.
Here is a link that may explain the substance free housing situation.

I'm no longer a hobo. Yay for pretty white packages from Tigerland :D

I live 1.5 hours away from Princeton...2 hours if the traffic is bad.

I still didn't receive anything from Princeton.

I live in southern CA near Los Angeles.

I'm worried...

Oh are they sending the packages out in batches? That makes me feel a little better :)

i got mine and i live in LA!

still rejoicing!

They definitely Fedex it to internationals. I just received my package (from Canada) so the wait is almost over.

if I don't get mine by Friday I'm calling them

i second sucharita. Is there a date by which we shoudl have received forms? I'm a little worried that the forms have deadlines : /. More worried that maybe they never got my reply card. (pales at thought of losing princeton...)

i just talked with pton admission office and the deadlines are 'indicative dates' we can send the forms back when we are done with it...so dont worry too much about it

(p.s. - and dont tk my word for it. better call and confirm, coz if i misheard something...dont want you all shouting at me...:o)

mea, why dont u email or call them about ur acceptance postcard. Or if there is a pton student who contacted u, ask him/her to mk sure that pton has u down as 'coming'. Coz, they are going to tk u no matter what, but it might screw up their waitlist assumptions...

I have a guestion: does a deadline mean that we have to mail the form before that date or that it has to reach Princeton before that date?

anyone else in CT here that didn't get theirs??

HOLY CRAP I just got my package. USPS, baby. It's so beautiful...pristine...I still haven't opened it...

(I'm in Hawaii, btw, so never fear overseas students - it should arrive soon).

adides - bleh :p secretly, i have this weird shy thing about using the phone, haha... but you're right, i'd better call to be sure.picks up phone

email them if you're scared to call, they replied to mine in 2 days flat which is pretty damn good considering its Princeton :p

such - wow, only 2 days? that's not bad :)! I'll call tho, if only because i'm such a wuss that i'd better beat it out of myself.
