new quarter, how many units to take

with UC apps out, would taking 14 quarter units suffice?
if not and i take 18 (add bus10) my projected schedule would be
M-math 10:30-11:20
T-math 10:30-11:20, esci 12:30-2:10, bus 3:30-5:40, intl 6:00-9:40
W-math 10:30-11:20, esci 2:30-5:10
Th-math 10:30-11:20, esci 12:30-2:10, bus 3:30-5:40
F-math 10:30-11:20
:|

my schedule right now with 22 quarter units is
M-11:30-12:20, 1:30-3:40
T-11:30-12:20, 1:30-3:40
W-11:30-12:20, 1:30-3:40
Th-11:30-12:20, 1:30-3:40, 6:00-9:40

if i take 14quarter units (12 is full time) will they reject me? do i really need to kill myself and take 18 quarter units with HORRIBLE time slots to keep my chances of acceptance up? i'm sure i can do it, but it will be my last quarter at CC and i kinda of want to chillax after taking 22 units per quarter. and theres really no other possibilities of classes due to ALL THE DAMN STUDENTS AT DE ANZA

If you’ve already got your 60s/90q units, it really doesn’t make a difference how many units you take as long as you let them know you’re using your time productively.

I’m currently taking 0 units and working 50 hours a week, and according to the councelors at my CC and the reps from UCLA and UCSD, it won’t negatively effect my admission chances at all.

well the extra 3:30-5:40 T/Th wouldnt do much for me. id probably use it to sleep
im at 87 q units right now, so i only need 3 more
but i also dont want them to think im slackin

I would have to say that as long as you are fullfilling your prereqs and the minimum of transferrable units for the colleges you are looking forward for admission. Then take any amount you feel comfortable with receiving good grades. It is most important to end your final year at CC at or better the way you came into applying.
