New SAT essay prep

I’m a junior, and I’m going to be taking the March 5th SAT. I’m getting rather worried about the essay.

The rest of the new SAT, I’ve heard, is very similar to the new PSAT, which I did pretty well on (1510), so I’m just going to brush up on everything I studied back in October.

However, I don’t have any way to prepare for the new SAT essay. Are there books specifically to help you prep for the essay? Do books for the new SAT exist yet, and how good are they? How should I study for this?

AP Lang rhetorical analysis essay is quite similar (a little harder passages, imo).

I second using AP language prompts. These are longer (about 20 lines longer), and you have 10 minutes less to perform the task on the real AP exam. The prompts from many of the past years are available for free on the CollegeBoard website, and yes, the prompts for these are more difficult. Practice with them and you’ll do really well on the SAT essay.
