NEW SAT SCORES! Chance me please!!

UW: 3.24 / 4.0
W: 3.63 / 4.3
...did poorly Freshman year, which brought me down, but I soon turned it around.

Just got SATs back...
had a 1720 when I applied but JUST received an 1830 from the makeup SAT (bc of Sandy)!
Applied Early Action to all 3

New Jersey Resident

A LOT of EC's with leadership positions/volunteer hours/varsity field hockey captain

Essays are very well-done, and so is my letter of recommendation.

What are my chances of getting into UMaryland - College Park, Rutgers University - New Brunswick (arts and sciences), and Penn State University - College Park

Should I send my new scores in and how much of a better chance do I have now?!

I assume Rutgers use the weighted GPA since their website lists 4.3 as the 75th percentile GPA for the 0-6 PharmD.

UMD: Match
Rutgers: Low match (Rutgers SAS admits lots of in-staters with that kind of stats)
PSU: Match

I think you have a good shot at all three schools.

Send in the new SAT scores. 110 points is a significant improvement. Couldn’t hurt.

From what I’ve gathered, admissions like to see that you’ve improved, so the fact that you’ve brought yourself back up from your freshman year will stand out, I think.
I’m not an expert, but you should definitely send in your new scores, and I think that your chances have improved a bit based on those.
I think that you have a really good chance, and I wish you the best.
