This morning in The Washington Post-

No mention whatsoever of controversy over the accuracy of the conversion chart, the new percentiles that were recently released, etc. Really, very little journalism in my opinion.
Coleman “discourages comparisons” while comparisons are the entire point of the test. Indeed, we will need to wait one more year. Feeling fortunate that I do not have a senior…
It doesn’t sound as though Coleman will be releasing a new concordance table based on the 2017 percentiles, does it? It sounds like he’s hoping this will all just go away if we wait a year.
College Board released a report for Class of 2017. I don’t see the link mentioned in the article. https://reports.collegeboard.org/sat-suite-program-results/class-2017-results
https://reports.collegeboard.org/pdf/2017-total-group-sat-suite-assessments-annual-report.pdf
I read it before my morning coffee kicked in and thought that was the problem. ~O)
The article basically maintains the College Board idea or concordance with the old SAT. A new SAT score means less than what it is. Their example: a 1300 is worth only a 1230 etc. Talks of no controversy or offers any explanations or other data.
