As a member of the highschool class of 2017, I will be of the first graduating class taking the new SAT. I want to start preparing for the SAT this summer though. Will there be any resources for me to go about doing so? If not, how should I do this?

They haven’t actually formed the tests yet. You can’t really prepare at the moment. Maybe study for the regular one, do well on it, and get it over with before your junior year.

Study for the ACT? I don’t know

take the ACT instead! This new test is going to be HORRIBLE! There were tons of new experimental sections on the SAT yesterday and everyone I know who had those sections hated it. The new Writing section will be very similar to the English section on the ACT. SO you can start studying that. They are announcing the format of the new test on April 16. They won’t have any practice materials for about another year.

I’m also currently a freshman in High School

So, to study for the new SAT, you study for the ACT?..
