New school

Hello!!
I am entering a university as a transfer student, I will be taking 16 credits there 10 of which are nursing major courses. I am very nervous, coming from a community college I don’t know what to expect. I will also be taking nursing assistant courses in order to receive my nursing assistant certification which I will need in order to get into clinicals next spring semester. I cannot avoid overloading my schedule. Any tips on how I can manage my time better in order to get through this with the highest grades possible??
Thank you!

A few ideas:

–One thing my D has done throughout college career that I admired was to use free time in the day wisely. For example, if you have a few hours between classes you can go to the library and get some homework done.

–Set aside time every night to go to the library and use your weekend time well.

–Get a planner (either on phone or a paper one) and schedule yourself. Mark off dates of exams, due dates of papers etc. Start big projects and studying for big exams early – be sure to give yourself enough time to get things done well.

–If you have questions, don’t hesitate to take advantage of your professor’s office hours.
