Schedule advice?

Hi to anyone reading
I need help thinking of a good schedule for this upcoming semester.

I need to:

  • take 5 classes to keep financial aid (one lab, 4 classes)
  • be available in the afternoons (~3PM and on)
  • work a job (not applying until I have a schedule)

And I:

  • do not want to take online classes (some non transferable and I also want to socialize)
  • want to take classes Monday-Friday

I want a schedule where I can balance work, school, extra curricular a, and be able to hang out with my boyfriend since we are long distance and speak in the afternoons. I’ve thought of having classes from 9-12 each day and working after that, but I’m not sure that anyone will hire me for 3 hours a day + I’m not sure I would make the amount that I need. I’ve also though about working and having classes in the afternoon from about 12-3, but that just doesn’t seem realistic.

I’m lost :stuck_out_tongue:

Haven’t you already registered for classes? If not, get busy and take whatever schedule you can get.

You only have so much control over your schedule; you have to register for the sections that are open!

You need to prioritize:

  1. School
  2. Work
  3. Extracurriculars
  4. Boyfriend

Start with #1 and get your schedule made. Then see when you are free to work. There are lots of places where you can work evenings and/or weekends. Don’t worry about extracurriculars until #1 and #2 have been worked out. #4 will have to work around your schedule if he really cares for you.
