New Student Reception

Is it worth going to? Or is it pretty much all common info? Most importantly: will there be food? xD I'd consider going but it's a good drive from here and I would rather not attend if it's the same ol' same ol'.

which one do you plan on going to?

I would think that it would probably be the same type of info session but I would just take it as an opportunity to meet some of your maybe future classmates. On the event info they said “light” refreshments will be served so I’m thinking cookies. Is that good enough for you popgoestheshelby??? lol

I’m going to go to the LA one

argh. i’m planning on the chicago one this weekend but i’m scared I’ll be the only one there.

wait, if you are already going to be attending the senior overnight weekend, do you still have to go to this student reception, eventhough its liek 10 minutes away from my house, will they provide the same info?

I’m wondering about this as well. I live about 2 hours from L.A., but I have no idea as to whether or not it’s worth it.

I’d be going to the Riverside one. From what I’ve looked up it’s a question and answer sort of deal. In my experience, those tend to be parents asking pretty obvious questions that can easily be looked up online. I’d like to meet future students in my area but I should be meeting some for the OSP.
