<p>I think you’re way qualified for all the universities you mentioned. HYPS is a crapshoot for anyone, so I can only suggest you to apply and let’s see 
I think you GPA is very high, and your ECs are good! I don’t see way you’re concerned about that since you are in this writing program, a thing that will certainly help you ! SAT is definitely a little low for HYPS in math, others scores are fine.
You seem a strong candidate, so apply to all the unis you really like! I think your program at Dartmouth will help you, maybe especially there!
I would say:
HYPS: high reach (like for anyone, but you definitely have a shot with higher SAT math and a scientific SAT II)
Brown, Dartmouth, Amherst: low reach
UCLA, USC: match

<p>I would suggest adding Emory to your list; it’s often ranked the best english department. You might like UVA too.</p>
