New to CC, looking for insight on my education so far

Hi everyone, I'm a new user here at CC. I'm a sophmore in high scholl and I'd like to see if I'm on the right track or if I should change something in order to get in Johns Hopkins. I've been on many college visits and JHU is by far my favorite and I want to apply ED there. So, in the mix of all these recent chances, may you please give some insight? Thanks!

Curriculars

Freshmen: Biology Honors, Algebra II Honors, English Honors, Spanish II(No honors offered), History CPE, Intro Business, Intro Wood. (G.P.A: 3.8 :[ )
Sophmore: Chemistry Honors, Geometry Honors, English Honors, Spanish III Honors, History CPE, Intro Auto. (Projected G.P.A: 4.25)
*GPA on an odd scale, in honors your grade is weighted one letter grade higher, and +&- have their own scales too. ex: 5.3 A+ in honors 4.8 A- in honors.
-I want to take about 6 A.P classes over the next two years.

-PSAT as a freshmen was around a 1030 on a 1600 SAT scale. Our class took the P.L.A.N test this year which is essentially the PACTs, didn't get results back yet.

This is it so far. I want to become an E.M.T when I turn 16 and I also hope to get into the National Honors Society and World Language Honors Society

Oh yeah and CPE is like an average college prep class (College Prep Enriched).

Come on, nobody has anything to say after 62 views??

Talk to your guidance counselor - they are the best resource. GL

Well the thing is that I want more than one opinion and some insight as well.

Soooo does any1 have any input?

Yes, ask your guidance counselor and post on another forum if you want a lot of input because let’s face it, JHU’s CC forum doesn’t get a lot of views.

Sorry for bumping, I guess, but i took a Pre-ACT test this year (Called the PLAN) and compared to a regular ACT i got a 32 combined. I assume this affects my chances more, can anyone comment please?

i think trying to chance you right now is too early however, everyone is right, you should talk to your counselor. even we don’t know what to do to get into JHU seeing as none of us have gotten an acceptance letter for this year’s seniors. you can certainly talk to your counselor and read these blogs [Hopkins Insider](http://blogs.hopkins-interactive.com/) its an insider of the JHU admission process. sorry i couldn’t help
