I am a new prospective student of the SHA program at BU, and when I say new I mean VERY new. The reason I say this is, just recently (about 2 weeks ago) I have realized that Hospitality Management is what I am truly interested in purely for the fact that I love people, food, and traveling. Originally I thought that in order to satisfy theses loves, business and marketing were the paths to pursue. However, upon further investigation, I discovered that Hospitality Management is the best way to satiate these passions of mine. Now, the reason that I post this today is to ask, since my interest and focus until recently has been in the business and marketing realm, ( So much so that I have been involved in FBLA, and every business oriented class that my school has to offer, AND I am actually doing a Marketing Internship next year ) I am curious if it is too late to become interested in the Hospitality Industry? If not, what do you suggest that I do in order to demonstrate my interest in this field? I look forward to hearing a response from anybody with any form of input!

If you’re still in high school I think you’re doing just fine. Management does have to do with business so it never hurts to know other aspects of the field.
