Alright, I've been thinking about this a lot more since my Junior year PSAT looms ever closer. So far the only real prep I've done involves looking at the College Board study book (Up to the end of the CR section), and doing SAT questions of the day. So I was wondering whether or not an SAT prep class would be worth my time, and where I could go about finding a decent one. And is the online course on the College Board website any good? Lastly, are there any other prep books I should get? I've been hearing a lot about "BB", but don't know what it stands for. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

BB stands for Blue Book, which is the College Board Study Guide. :)

…So I guess I already have it then. Derp.

You know… I feel that a lot of people on CC who talk about score raising, how to study, etc. are actually kind of blind in a way. The answers actually in front of you but it just depends on if you want to accept it or not. Study, practice makes perfect. Study the right way. When you don’t understand something review it until you got it 100%. Personally I don’t think books really matter as long as you calculate your scores using Collegeboard material. Other books just use them to practice and get familiar.

Don’t go to a prep course.

I don’t think prep classes are necessary. The BB and practice are definitely the most important but if you want you can get supplemental workbooks for your weak areas
