***New York State Algebra II and Trig Regents June 2014***

@swagkinggg‌ i’m taking english tomorrow, physics friday. the english questions shouldn’t be too difficult, and i’m a terrible analyzer and writer, hopefully i don’t jinx myself now

Umm this is an algebra 2 discussion not english

@Saswizy‌ Yeah, I know. Do you remember that being one of the choices? I’m afraid I didn’t read carefully and put that

i think i messed up the graph. when i graphed the new function the vertex was below that of f(x) damn

@galaxyexplorer‌ it was choice 4.

The one you said was choice 3

for one of the questions where it asked us to determine which graph as a function and all of them were short lines, was the asnwer choice 4?

there was this question where it said sine y= six=a and cos x=cosy=b what was that all about?

What did you guys get for the cliff diver question? 1.84 or 2.1?

@hf1234 - It was the one with all the lines that had one open circle and one closed circle each (choice 1, I believe).
Also, b^2 + a^2.

@Broncos34‌ - I put 1.84, I think!

@Broncos34 it was 1.84

my classmates said that for the function question with the graphs it was choice four … IDKKK):

how about the cubic polynomial short answer question?

i got x=5 after checking -4, and 4 and seeing that they didnt work

@davidjamel‌ the answers were 2 and -2 and -5 I think.

@davidjamel - 2, -2, -5

@hf1234 - I’m not sure which answer choice it was, but it was definitely the one that had open circles. All the other ones didn’t pass the vertical line test; you can’t have a function with two points like (3, 2) and (3, 4).

@sunsh0wers‌ it was choice 1, I believe

^Yeah, that’s what I thought! Thanks (:

guys, the falling off the cliff question was 2.1 correct?

what did you guys get for the inequality one?? was it supposed to be separate or put together?

i got 1.84 for the cliff question, can someone clarify?

.
