I was saying that they could have finished senior year in high school and then get a shot at Harvard and all.. But instead, they got into college early to get an associate's.

You do understand that they start the early college in our 9th grade and graduate at the same time as their peers?

I guess though it only works for those that wouldn't have gone to college otherwise. The problem is when it parades itself as an elite school.

No I didn't understand it like this. I thought it was some of the early college programs I saw, that you can get your 11th and 12th grade done and complete you associate's meanwhile, in 2 years. I think it was University of Georgia or something... Sorry :)

I agree that random discussion is good, but this is thread-jacking. I don't think that is what the OP intended when he/she started this thread, and it is quite an unpleasant surprise when I came in here expecting to discuss about next year's schedule and found half the page about something completely unrelated.

If you look back at the previous page, seemingly no one is joining into their conversation. I was merely suggesting the possibility that they could do it in private over PM, or they could start a new thread with the purpose of discussing the Canadian school system.

Also, I do not appreciate you calling me 'lame'. Send me a PM if you have anything to add to this.

And I suppose everyone online should stand virtually in queue and wait for their turn to post their schedules for the millionth time, and wait for a small comment like "Wow that's a good schedule" and go about their business? Excuse us for living. We were discussing a schedule, we just got a bit off topic. I believe that any discussion is good on these threads. Even this discussion is good. :)

I agree our discussion was a bit off-topic but as he said, discussion is always good. And, I'm sure he doesn't mind anyone joining the conversation... I don't :) If there are people interested, I could start a thread?

to be on topic...
