Next Year's Class Schedules

sophomore currently; rising junior...

IB Physics
IB History of the Americas
IB French
IB English
IB Theory of Knowledge
IB Math HL I
IB Social Anthropology

yes, i ditched the option of doubling up with Math HL II (the two combined = BC Calc). instead, i decided to take social anthropology.. my interest was sparked by this year's intro to sociology course. eep, i'm so proud of myself for ditching what my oh-so-asian parents dubbed "more practical." frankly, i'm not going to sacrifice my genuine interests for what's "practical" anymore.

Oh, I got my schedule worked out!!! I just found our new program for 05/6 year on the school website (we get it on Monday), but I've already got my schedule planned. The AP's (except English) aren't certain since I need to talk to the teachers to get signed in, but English is already a go.

Junior year....drum roll

English IV AP Lit & Comp
Pre Calculus
European History AP
American Gov't & Politics (not sure if I'll do regular...might as well start AP and can always drop if I feel like I need to due to teacher/student differences)
Bussiness & Law (sem. 1)/Personal Financial Management (sem. 2)
Comparitive Religions (sem. 1)/Prep for College Life (sem. 2)
Women In Literature (only a quarter class)

Ohhh, I'm SO excited. It's sad how happy and excited I am...it's also sad I have my schedule done before we even have our programs or scheduling sheet...hahaha.

YEA! SENIOR YEAR!!! Class of '06!!

AP Calculus
AP English
AP French
AP Chemistry
Constitutional topics (2 credits, counts as an AP)
Women's Lit(1/2 yr)
Peace, tolerance and protest (1/2 yr)

Yep, just signed my death away, but I'm so excited and I'll be a senior so it's worth it.

"do the colleges think it's bad to take easier courses like stats?

i know it's very good and essential, but isn't it a reality that the colleges see them as an "easy way out"?"

From what I've heard, stats is pretty damned important for science majors. Chances are you will have to take it at a university anyways. Do schools reject people just for taking stats in place of calculus their senior year?

'07 represent!!

Junior schedule= perhaps the most important of them all
