I have my main extracurriculars in business. I am the president of Future Business Leaders at my school this year, Public Relations officer last year, and the Inland Section Secretary of CAFBLA and it's the only club I've been in consistently throughout high school. I've won many awards in it at as well, but I'm not really interested in a business career. I want to be a Human Science major at NHS. Would it be better if i applied for a business major at MSB and then switch colleges to NHS? Like would there be a higher chance of me getting in or anything? Or is it too hard for someone to change school?

apply to the school you want to go to. Some students have sports, music, or drama as their major extra curriculars, that doesn’t mean they need to continue in college or study associated subjects. Focus on the skills you developed through the extra-curriculars and why you want to go to NHS and major in human science. It doesn’t matter what you did after school, but whether you were a leader or follower when you put your mind to something as well as what you learned from the activities. I am sure many of the skills you learned are transferrable and will enable you to contribute to the Georgetown community in other ways. If you succeeded in an area that you have little interest, imagine what you could do if you put your effort into an area you are really interested in…

This makes so much more sense now. Thank you so much. I don’t know why i never thought of it this way and i’m set on nhs now. thanks again!
