I'm trying to figure out a problem in my textbook.

"5000 cubic meters of H20 fall 50 feet from the Falls every second. Temp = 23 C

What is the change in entropy?"

I tried consulting the Princeton Review, but apparently entropy isnt on the AP. Nevertheless, I would like to know this. I don't see how the water's change of location triggers a transfer of heat. (The equation for entropy I have being (Delta Q)/(Absolute Temp)) The only difference in the system I can see, (as this chapter is before sound or anything like that) is the change in potential energy.

Thanks
