Nice way to treat people

i think that we all need to realize that during this college admission process, there are a number of stress-filled times. We ALL need to relax and realize what is meant to be is meant to be.

good luck to all still waiting...i completely understand the nerves as I am also waiting on my #1 choice.

"Ranks" refers to the group in which you are in. In this case it simply means anyone who is a student at Syracuse.

Commenting on the lack of decent treatment by an admissions office is not in any way like attacking religion. If (other) students attending Syracuse are upset that someone didn't like their admissions office policy then I guess no one ever complains about your dining hall food, housing lottery process, getting closed out of a class, or bureaucratic red tape because if they did, it would be attacking religion according to you.

You are hyper sensitive, London, and you really need to find something to do with yourself other than lurk on these boards looking to pick a fight.

outofstate, I find it fascinating that you are accusing others of being hypersensitive. I'm a high school senior. Much of my future probably rides upon whether or not I am accepted into Newhouse. I still haven't heard, while hundreds around me have. Somehow, I am not panicking. I simply accept that Syracuse, as an institution, receives thousands of applicants every year. It's not even April, yet. No college your son or daughter could possibly be considering will have a deposit deadline within the next month. Trust me, I go to an "elite" prep school in central New Jersey. Very few people are more stressed about the college process than I am. How is it that somehow I am more calm than a parent? It's going to be okay. We will all hear soon. Let's not go criticizing the school unless you'd like to read thousands of coming of age stories in the form of an application essay.
