Nicest campus: Tufts, Brandeis or Boston College?

rank these three campuses… is bc the most prestigious?

one is mostly jewish, one is mostly christian, and one is closer to 50/50

Personally, I liked Tufts' campus the best. All three of them are just outside Boston, so they have the suburban feel while having the urban opportunities right there. Brandeis' campus is VERY unsightly, probably the ugliest I ever visited.

I alos liked Tufts A LOT better than Brandeis. Haven't been to BC.

yeah, i heard that Brandeis is one of the ugliest campuses every -_-;;;

I wouldn't call it ugly, but it certainly has a much more contemporary feel than most colleges, and the very suburban setting isn't exciting. When we toured this summer, we noted that the modern architectural style was at definite odds with every other school we'd seen.

Tufts is lovely, though we wound up missing both the tour and info session and so only saw it from the periphery. The nearby town was interestingly quirky. I think BC has the nicest campus of all three, though it's built on quite a hill and I wouldn't want to have to run up and down those million stairs all day long. It's actually two campuses - housing is so tight that about 40 percent (I think) of the freshman class is housed a few miles down the road and transported to the main campus by constant shuttle buses. Kids who live there swear it's not a major drawback.

All three schools offer terrific facilities, regardless of the signature architecture at each. It would be hard NOT to get a good education at any of them.
