Njit bs/md

Atam Dhawan, the director of the HC and my interviewer, was a nice guy. They will scare you a little bit in the conference room at the beginning when they tell you the stats of what percent of applicants are admitted, but just stay confident into your interview. I always tried to look up a little bit about my interviewers before the interview so I know about their education, research efforts…

What did you look up in regards to the school itself? Do they ask questions about the program in the honors college interview as well?

Can some one PM me or post questions for NJIT honor interview…

He just asks the basic questions like why physician, why NJMS, why accelerated, talk about your experiences etc. Make sure to do some research on NJIT and seem very keen on going there cause that’ll definitely help your chances. His goal is ultimately to attract the most talented students to go through NJIT before NJMS so definitely come across as genuinely interested in NJIT. Also, interview was pretty short like 15 min. He seemed to weight stats in to decision more than typical interview as well.

Does anyone know when we get financial aid info? I think the said mid December but I haven’t gotten anything yet…

Happy to give you advice regarding the combined programs as well.

There’s a lot of info also available through

Greatly appreciate if any one could share, typically how many students NJIT takes for the BS/MD program. Since my D. is planning and need to apply by this week before 11/15, any quick response well really help to decide. I sent many mails to NJIT and did not get any response on the number of students. Thanks in advance.
